The American Cancer Society's "Stomp-It Out" Competition promoted awareness of the hazards of tobacco products among teens. Competing against high schools and 10 schools in their level of competition, two Memorial students won and received a plaque, a shirt, and a monetary award. |

Congratulations to the Memorial Girls' Soccer Team for their Thursday win over Pierce MS 3 to 0. This completes the best record ever for a girls' soccer team with a record of 4 wins and 1 loss.

Congratulations to Josseline Melgar, an 8th grade student here at Memorial Middle School. Her original work of art has been selected from among entries sent in from seven middle schools in Hillsborough County. Ms. Melgar's surreal artwork "Together" will be on display at the Dali Museum as a part of the Salvador Dali Surrealism Exhibit. |
